It all started in a small home office in 1982. After fifteen years of teaching Industrial Arts in California public junior high schools, Vince Songcayawon opened Songs Realty & Investment Company to help people purchase homes and investment properties. He found some early success in investing, and felt that others could benefit from what he was doing.

His first “brick and mortar” location was a shared office with an insurance agent friend, in north San Jose. Years later, the company found a home in the Evergreen neighborhood, where it’s been ever since.

After several more years in business, he opened a mortgage company to meet the growing needs of his clientele. With the sister companies, Songs Realty and Songs Mortgage, under one roof, he created a “one-stop-shop” for real estate investment and management.
