Newark

The city of Newark is located in Alameda County, and is part of the “Tri-City” area, along with Fremont and Union City. It is on the edge of Silicon Valley, and is home to the U.S. headquarters for the Logitech International.

Newark has a dense suburban feel, with many restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. The city houses the NewPark Mall, one of the larger shopping centers in the region. Residents anticipate further growth with the upcoming Dumbarton Rail, connecting the Tri-City area with the Bay Area peninsula.
